.about me.
This idea was born completely out of After using it for a few months, I came to realize that it was cumbersome, took up too much room in my diaper bag and I didn’t like the fact that it was a wrinkled mess when I wanted to use it! I tried rolling it, but found that it came unrolled when I was digging for one of the many things a new mom needs to carry! It simply was another item that I had to include in my diaper bag with the diapers and wipes. I knew there had to be a better way! Thus, the Bumble Cover was born!
As I started developing the Bumble Cover, my son became my “tester.” Believe me when I tell you there were many trial and error moments! For four months I created, recreated, and reinvented. I started with an idea, and now I’m able to nurse with something that is sturdy, easy to use, convenient, and most importantly, discreet in public.
necessity… let me explain.
When my son was 4 months old, I was given a nursing cover from a friend. I LOVED it! I had been travelling and it was so much easier to nurse on the plane ride home with the nursing cover, than my previous flight had been with a blanket. I began telling everyone I knew about this cover, how great it was, and how it had made my nursing experience in public so much easier!
I’m a firm believer that nursing your baby is one of the most priceless times in your growth together. Taking away the awkward situation of being exposed in public while nursing only adds to this experience. It gives you peace of mind, and as you know, that is a gift in itself with a little one! I created this nursing cover with functionality and discreetness in mind. My hope is that this Bumble Cover will bring you a hassle-free nursing experience anywhere, so you and your baby can enjoy those special moments together. Rachael Stone
